not overly keen on app servers, but needs must i suppose. ok i can connect to the 2x server as normal and see all the apps still, when i try to run any app i get hte message the client could not establish a connectio to the remote computer likely causes are 1) servers are too busy 2) the terminal server is not part of the farm any advise gratefully received
Have you added any terminal servers in the 2X Console?? From the 2X Console -> Information -> Status is are the server/s connected ?? Nixu
thanks for the reply. yes it seems so Thu Apr 10 18:54:55 2008 2X Client Gateway running normally 2X Client Gateway running on 0.0.0.0:2445 Broadcast service running on 0.0.0.0:20000 0 active RDP tunneled session(s) 0 active Citrix tunneled session(s) 2X Terminal Server Agent running normally 2X Publishing Agent running normally Load Balancing 1 server(s) Active Disconnected Server Type Agent CPU Memory Sessions Sessions UKFP01 RDP OK 0% 9% 1 1
Ok then, the last thing to check is to make sure that the publish application is published from this server. 2X Console -> Publishing -> select Application -> Publish from -> select "all servers in Farm" to test with. Nixu
Hi, Make sure the cables are properly connected. I have faced this error message when someone mistakenly connected the Server Cat5 cable to the Router's WAN port instead of the Ethernet port. Tom
Client Could not establish a connection .... Sorry It was not the Cable. Anything related to Terminal Service in the Event Viewer of the Server? Tom
