This is my second serious crises using Parallels in the last week. I'm a novice so it's very scary. When I clicked on the desktop icon (Windows HD.app) to open the Windows side everything seemed normal at first. Then suddenly the smaller screen that comes up momentarily (listing the RAM size, etc. with buttons on the right side) requiring a click to then open the full windows screen--started displaying a rapid-fire series of DOS lines of text going down down the screen for almost 10 minutes. Then it said the "recovery was successful" I rebooted and clicked on the desktop icon again to discover that my Windows desktop and all toolbars are now completely blank. My windows screen no longer shows any icons in the toolbar below or anywhere. The mac side works fine. But all the icons on my Windows desktop are gone. I've rebooted again to no avail. All my personal planning (email, project mgmt, address book) is on the Windows side in Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook software so I'm in deep weeds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
