I see many with the same issue, but nothing recommended seems to work. I am using Parallels 2.2 and Mac OS X 10.4.10. All the settings in my Parallels configuration window seem appropriate USB device status on and Autoconnect USB devices also checked (that is the only option that I have there), but when I open my Parallels desktop and try to connect a USB flash drive, for example, I get the error message that another device is using the USB device and to try to reconnect. Please help me overcome this problem or to figure out another way where I can copy files from the Mac on to the Windows partititon. My guest PC is XP, by the way. I am kind of a computer novice, so anything you can do to keept the language simple, would be much appreciated.
