hide windows device/volume from other users

    Hey there, my Windows drive is seen as Untitled on my Desktop. The name doesn't really bother me too much, but is there a way to tell Parallels to change that VM name without creating a new VM?

    And more important to me, how do I hide Untitled from other users on my Mac? Another user can see the drive, and I don't want them to even have read permissions on it.

    Hello Stephen,

    To remove the Windows drive ( untitled ) from the Mac Desktop.
    1. Shutdown the Windows => Go to Configure => Shared Folder => Un-check the options " Share all Windows drives With Mac" and " Mount all Virtual Hard disk to Mac Desktop." => Click OK.
    2. Go to Configure => Go to Smart Mount => Disable it => Click OK.

    To Rename the Windows Virtual machine.

    1. Shutdown the Windows => Go to Configure => General => Assign the new name in " VM Name " option => Click OK.

    This should work.
