    Hi,

Everything worked fine with Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro 15 inch, but when I upgraded (?!?!?) to Windows 8 everything became screwy.
Worst of all is scrolling in Office. It's laggy, erratic, and often goes in the wrong direction. When I scroll UP, it will instead scroll DOWN for a while, then reverse directions as though realising its mistake. An it overshoots where I wanted to scroll to by a lot. This behavior alone is makes me want to throw my computer against the wall, because scrolling is something I do about every minute.

Also, the annoying Charms keep on popping up on the right hand side of the screen, even though I tried to turn them off in Windows settings. They appear at apparently random times, when I gaze at the trackpad the wrong way. When I try to repeat whatever trackpad motion set them off, they won't appear.

Any ideas on how to fix these two things?

    Thanks!

the thing you should start with is reinstalling integration drivers package Parallels Tools <http://kb.parallels.com/en/115776>. Also, you should try playing with the "Smooth scrolling" feature (VM config > Hardware > Mouse and keyboards). Have anything been changed on the Mac side?

Turning off smooth scrolling seemed to do the trick.

    Thanks!
