I am using the release version of Parallels Desktop on a 2GB 17" MacBook Pro. Energy Saver settings allow the host to sleep after 30 minutes inactivity. Sometimes, on waking the host, Windows XP guest does not respond to mouse or keyboard, at all.

The workaround is to force the host to sleep again (Sleep item on Apple menu), and then wake as usual. This seems to return things to normal.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Hooray! And thanks so much, rollandjb for the tip on re-sleeping. Some days, I personally "wake up", experience a lock-up, and then have to resleep in order to reawaken!
