How can I change the screen orientation from landscape to portrait?

For some applications, for instance OCR, I would like to use my monitor in portrait orientation. As long as I used Windows 7 proper on a classical Intel-machine, I could use the driver of the graphic card. This does not work anymore in a Windows guest session under Mac OS X. How is it done here under Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac?

Doesn't rotating display in OS X preferences work?

Indeed. I forgot to start with the obvious, OS X. It took a few attempts to find out that 270 and not 90 degrees is the right one for my display, but it works of course. Thanks

I actually want to rotate JUST my VM and not the whole OSX display. this doesn't seem possible yet.
