How do I get Empire Earth to run? It's not recognized as original.

I got Empire Earth II Platinum Edition to install Just fine. However, when I put the disc in to start the game I get this popup message to insert the original disc instead of a backup. It is the original. I have 2 games and both get the same popup request. The main reason I got Parallels 3.0 was to play Empire Earth and other games on my Apple. I'm supposed to be at a LAN party right now where they are mostly playing EE and Starcraft. I can't go and play if I'm gonna sit there looking like an dummy staring at my Apple. It's a MacBook Pro 2.33 and I did turn on Direct 3D. My guess is it has something to do with the imulation thing. I'm hoping someone can get to me before it's too late to go to the LAN party. I also can't upgrade Windows Media Player from 9.0 and I can't play DVDs while Parallels is on. Other than that, I love it.
Thanks for the help (regardless of when I get it).
