I recently bought a Mac Pro but the internal drive is too small to hold my virtual disc with Windows 7 and all of the documents contained in my user profile. I would like to move my user profile to an external drive and then move the virtual disc to the internal hard drive since it is a flash drive and 10 times faster than my external drives. This is a seemingly impossible task. I've tried to follow the directions contained on this site: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/87555-user-profile-change-default-location.html but have not had any success. Why is this so ridiculously difficult? It takes 17 steps to do this in Windows and it still doesn't work. On a Mac it takes just 5 simple steps and it is straight forward. I know there is likely something going on with the Parallels tools that makes it not work but, because I am a Mac guy that only uses Windows to run one program, I have no idea how to do this and I can't find anything on this site to tell me how to do it.
