How do I set default OS for windows files?

    I have Parallels 5 with both Windows 7 and Windows XP installed. When I open an exe file from my Mac desktop, it defaults to launching Windows 7 (even if the XP virtual machine is already running) How do I set it so Windows files (exe for example) are run with my Windows XP virtual machine?
