How do I uninstall windows vista

    I'm new to Mac, and i installed Windows vista on my laptop but now its not working very good,,so i want to uninstall it and install XP instead..How do i Do that?

    So you installed Vista within Parallels? If so and you have no data in your Vista image that you need then navigate to ~/Library/Parallels (the ~ means the Library directory wihin your user directory) and delete the folder your installed Vista in and then just create a new image in Parallels for XP.

    i just did that and installed xp..hope it works alot better than Vista..thanks alot :)

    It wil but the VM will need the same good house keeping as any other Windows machine

    anti virus
    firewall
    security etc etc

    Using Parallels since June 2006 and it just keeps on truckin'

    even the beta(s) if you treat it with respect
    proper shut downs and (virtual) disk maintenance utilities
