These questions relate to the behavior of Parallels 11 with OS X El Capitan host and Windows 7 guest operating system. When Mac is "awake": 1. When it is time for a scheduled task to start, will a paused virtual machine automatically resume in order for the task to execute? 2. When it is time for a scheduled task to start, will a suspended virtual machine automatically resume in order for the task to execute? 3. Will a virtual machine in which applications or scheduled tasks are presently executing prevent OS X from entering sleep? When Mac is in sleep mode, and supports the Power Nap feature, and Power Nap is enabled: 4. Will a Mac in Power Nap be awakened from sleep when it is time for a scheduled task to start - and would that be true whether the virtual machine was in its active state, or paused state, or suspended state at the time the Mac entered sleep?
