so i want to get a mac and i will need to use parallels as my work only works for windows but i dont know how the notification will look if i am on MacOS with windows in the back https://i.reddituploads.com/6eb716b...536&w=1536&s=51f89fa18f2dd2e61e67c2e04a643000 as you can see in the corner of my screen i have a chat coming in? would something like that pop up still if i am on the macOS and then a chat come in? would it look like that ? or would i have to go over to the windows screen to see it coming in? also would i be able to hear the sound of the ring? i hope i was able to word this right.
Hi GinoF, there is a new option in Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac 'Optimize full screen for games', where no Dock, notifications and OS X menu bar are shown. Please uncheck it so that you could access notifications and it's sounds etc., Go to virtual machine Configuration-> Options-> Full screen->uncheck "Optimize full screen for games" Also, go to System preferences-> Security & Privacy -> Accessibility -> tick "Parallels Desktop"
