As the title implies, I am having the darndest time getting the function keys to work in XP. How do you get the function keys to become "Windows function keys" while in Parallels? Thanks, David
I don't have a MacBook, but I seem to recall something posted here. Don't you have to hold down the Fn key at the same time as pressing the Function key you want?
No, the function keys don't engage very predictably in Windows. Some things work, most trigger OS X functions, even though I'm working in Parallels Desktop (Windows XP). Is anyone having luck engaging function keys in Windows, whether you're on a laptop or not? How do I get Parallels and Windows to take ownership of those keys when they are the active program? David
Finally figured it out. I realized that the problems had to do with the Dashboard and Expose control panel settings in System Prefs. After looking up "Dashboard" in the Parallels manual, there is a clear explanation on how to resolve. David
