Hi, I have a little problem of space in my Macbookpro. I have a 412 Gb HD (the rest is for bootcamp). I'm running Parallels with a virtual machine with windows 7. The virtual hd is a 285 gb (133 gb are free). Unfortunately with the snapshots all the pvm is 388GB. I have only around 20gb free in the real HD. I have tried to merge snapshots because i want to compress but it say that i haven't enough space for merge. I will try to do it with an external HD (I WANT AN HD WITH THUNDERBOLT NOW :_( !!!!!!!!) but i don't know how much space i need. Someone know how much? Thank you
Same problem Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue, and am trying to determine how much fancy footwork will be required to merge snapshots. I'm guessing that it is based in some way on the active size of the VM and/or snapshots, but I have not been able to find any information on the subject. Thanks!
