How the streaming of the product works?

I think this a great product but I am bit confused as how the streaming is done from the Mac to to ipad. Does it directly goes from Mac to ipad without leaving my business environment or does the streaming go from Mac to parallel server to ipad (leaving my business environment.

 

I would like to know this too, but with the one test I ran it may leave your network.

 

I tested this by unplugging my cable modem's coaxial cable from the wall. You need to be connected to the WAN to login to Parallels Access because it's a subscription service. Once you're connected to your computer over the LAN, you can disconnect from the WAN and you'll remain connected to your computer.

The user guide says "Parallels Access connects to your computer securely using state-of-the-art technology, including SSL and 256-bit AES encryption."
