Hi, new to this so forgive me.

I'm doing a uni networking course and I have to connect a client (Win7) to a server (WinServer2008).

I can connect my virtual machine client, through the ethernet port, to another computer at uni which is running server 2008 but I want to be able to run both the server and client on my macbook pro.

    Any help is grateful.

Switch the network mode of the VM to Bridge Mode so all devices are on the same subnet.

(since you are doing a networking course you should know what bridging networks/devices and subnet mean. ;) )

Hi thanks for replying sorry for the delay, been busy with other projects.

Not sure if I made it clear enough in first post so I will re explain it.

I run Parallels 7 and will have 2 VM running at the same time on 1 macbook pro.

I have server 2008 running and Windows 7 running at the same time. I want to be able to link them so i can access the domain of the server with the windows 7.

I will try your suggestion now to double check.

    Thanks loads
