    Hi,

I have been using Bootcamp partition as Parallels VM for a while performance wise I don't need to have the separate bootcamp partition anymore. So my goal is migrating the bootcamp partition as Parallels VM and get rid of bootcamp partition in order to maximize my hard disk capacity. Here is current configuration I got

    Parallels Desktop v8
    Mac OS 10.8.4
Bootcamp with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
    Hard Disk split three partitions
Bootcamp partition NTFS where Windows applications and windows system files
Mac OS partition - Mac OS Extended
Shared Drive- partition formatted as FAT and the windows user data is stored in this folder

So my windows 7 OS uses Bootcamp and D partition formatted as FAT. I'd like to convert Windows to Parallels VM and turn my hard disk into a single Mac OS Extended formatted disk space

    - How can I convert existing Bootcamp based Windows system to Parallels VM?
    - DO I need to unite windows system files and user data that resides in separate partition under a single partition first?
    - the empty space on my internal disk is not enough to export/transport the windows system. Can I export/transport a external drive first and bring it back into my Mac OS driver later once I deleted bootcamp and the FAT partitions?

is there anything else I should taken care of?
    Thanks for your help
