Hi everyone! I have a problem. My Desktop-Computer crashed some Days ago but i need the Software, which is running on that PC. So - now I'm thinking to copy that HDD to my Mac with parallels and use it as a virtual System, BUT: Parallels-Tools allowing that switching only, if i run a windows tool before transferring the system. It is not possible anymore! What can i do now? Is there any possibility to transfer that OS to a virtual Drive? (Okay, sorry for that question - but every Software is allowed. So maybe so "other" tools can help me?) Thx! Bye Chris
To transfer windows into Parallels, the Windows OS must be running on a separate machine outside of the Mac OS. You will have to "Stand Up" the Windows machine in it's own box before migration to Parallels.
