Hi, I am running out of space on my mac's hard drive and would like to move my virtual drive (Microsoft Windows XP.pvm) to my external hard drive to free up some space. However, when I try to copy it, I get the following error message, after copying only 11mb: "The operation can't be completed because an item is being modified." I tried copying both when logged into my user account and when logged in as root, and received the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Just shut down parallels, copy the files over (make sure it's an HFS formatted drive, NTFS won't work), then try to launch your VM and locate the files.
