I am a new user and I have a very stupid problem. I have created a 10gb size virtual image and I want to either erase it or create a new smaller one over the first, so I mean like an 8gb one. How do I do this?

Thank you very much for the help

    Best regards,
    João Terra

Are you wanting to keep you old data? Or do you not care about this.

If the latter, it is easy, search spotlight for '.hdd' without the quotes, if you only have one result, that is it; so, delete it. Now go through the Parallels install process, do not choose quick install, rather choose custom and select 8GB as the disk size.

Actually, there is a setting to do this cleanly for you... Open your configuration window, go into the 'Configuration Editor' by click on one of the settings. Go to your 'Hard Disk 1' (assuming you only have one), note the little button called 'Recreate', this is your friend. Follow the prompts after pressing the button.
