    How do I get on the internet and setup email?

    Please make sure that VM is in SharedNetwork mode. It is default, so if you didn't do anything with VM-configuration, it is already so.

    And make sure that you have Parallels Tools installed: when they are not installed, there is a message on the status bar (most bottom part) of the Parallels Desktop.
