    Greetings,

Recently upgraded to Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac.

Was running OK with Vista Beta until Beta expired a while back....

So, bit the bullet and bought Vista Ultimate Upgrade today....wouldn't let me install it over Vista Beta as I got message that I had to install Vista from within existing OS...problem is that Vista Beta expire so can't start it up anymore....

So, dug out my XPP SP2 disc and install XPP, install went OK and it booted up to XP desktop....

So, now when I try to install Vista using 'File'> 'New' > OS Installation Assistant I end up with error message regarding Compatibility Report, says that computer is not compliant with ACPI.....

Also, tried installing straight from disc but get same error message....

So, how do I go about getting Vista installed on my MacBook????????

Thanks for any and all advice....

    Mark

OK, Crisis Over...Figured Out What to Do....

Well, figured there must be a way to get Vista installed since Parallels says it supports Vista Ultimate....

Checked in Actions menu and voila! Found a selection called 'Prepare for Vista Upgrade'...Selected that and was on my way......

Vista install is now in progress.....
