I tried to convert the VDI to VMDK and HDD, but neither of them works: when I select the converted file as hard disk file, I got a message complaining about "old version image, need to convert to newer version".
But when I hit convert, another error message comes up and immediately dismissed by itself, which claims that the image file is corrupted or locked, and nothing happened later.
I also tried other file types, but DP8 just tells me that the hard disk file is not supported and will be disconnected.
So is it possible to mount virtualbox's hard disk (VDI) in DP8's VM?

    PS. the virtualbox is 4.3.8.

    Thanks.

    Hi LichengY,

With Parallels Desktop for Mac you can use Windows that you set up using VMware Fusion, Microsoft Virtual PC, and Virtualbox:

    1. Please make sure you deleted previous tools from your VM (old Parallels Tools or VMware tools, etc.)
    2. Fully Shut down your VM - do not suspend the VM and do not put it in hibernate mode.
    3. Open Parallels Desktop (in the Applications folder) and choose File > Open.
    4. Select the Windows data file you want to import, then click Open.
.Parallels Desktop data files end with .pvm.
    .VMware files end with .vmx.
.Virtual PC files end with .vmc.
.VirtualBox files end with .xml or .vbox.
    6. Start Windows.
    7. Choose Virtual Machine > Install Parallels Tools and follow the onscreen instructions.

    Thanks,
    Looran
