I know that it's not really related to Parallels software but I hope some Windows folks could help a blur Mac user here.

I don't like to leave history on my computing practices. On a Mac, I know how to clear all history, preferences, cache and so on. On Windows XP, I'm totally clueless.

When I add a network place, in the Add Network Place Wizard under Internet or network address, there's a list of pass network place shortcuts. I want to clear this list and prevent future listing.

    How do I do that?

Someone recommended Webroot's Windows Washer to me. But I wonder whether there's a possible way to do it manually on Windows XP itself?

    Thanks in advance.
