How to run Windows as natively as possible?

There are two reasons that I'm running MacOS as my primary OS:

    #1 Trackpad support
Yes, I would literally pay $1,500 more just for the trackpad (and keyboard, actually). I tried a Surface Book Pro and, other than the screen being quite nice, the rest of it felt like an unbearably cheap knock-off by comparison. The ergonomics of Mac hardware just work better in every way for me.
As such, my primary goal is just to let MacOS handle the hardware drivers because, well, the windows drivers suck terribad (in my experience).

Above all, I must have a good trackpad.

    #2 Obscure MacOS features
There's a number of obscure things that I like about MacOS that I want to retroactively enable one-by-one. If the only way I could do this is by switching between the two, that would be perfectly fine.
Also, I use BetterTouchTool and Karabiner to further enhance my keyboard experience. I've tried some of the Windows tools but... they're meh at best.

    How do I...
First and foremost I want to set up Windows to be as hard-core primary OS as possible - full screen, full keyboard and trackpad capture, full Excel shortcuts - no helpful integrations. I want to make it as if it were the primary OS as much as possible.

What can I do to pull out all the stops? (ALL of them!)

At first the only "integration" I want is just a button to allow me to switch back to Mac.

    Is Parallels the right tool?
I've also come to realize that perhaps I purchased Parallels in vain. Since I want such a raw experience, should I maybe be using VirtualBox instead? (or would it be the same pain points?)

I was expecting that Parallels would be more fleshed out (which it is) and therefore give me a better experience. Particularly I thought that things like Excel would be easy to use with "normal" key shortcuts and such, but it turns out that... that's not the case (or perhaps BetterTouchTool's low-level assistive keyboard driver is getting in the way?)

Anyway, I'm happy to money for a great product, I just can't figure out how to configure this thing be... less "helpful" and more useful.
