Hello, yesterday I run the update to Version 5.0. Before everything is running very well with Parallels Desktop 4 and Windows XP. After the update I got some serious problems: 1. The Parallels tool created 3 times a total freeze of the system including mouse and keyboard. After the third shut down of the system the tools seemed to be installed. 2. I coordinated shutdown of the guest system is not possible. First the prl-cpt doesn't accept to be shut down. Then the network connections didn't disconnect (with the complete sharing of user and files, after disabling this option it was okay), finally the explorer doesn't shut down and after shutting down manually the system is only to stop with the parallels stop feature. 3. Within the crystal mode the start menu doesn't work at all. 4. Within the coherence mode the start menu doesn't work with the shut down procedure and the message boxes with the error messages are hidden. They are only available in the window mode and there the start menu seems to work. 5. And now the best: To report an error means that the hole system will freeze completely. So all in all the update was a real disaster and I hope anyone here will give me an idea to fix the problems. Tanks for help. Peter
