    Hello,

I have copied the VM from my MBP to my new iMac and installed a fresh Parallels Desktop application.
When entering my upgrade key to version 4 and then my license key for the 3 version I got the message that the upgrade key is wrong.

    Q) how do I disactivate my license for the MBP and make it free to use for the iMac ?
I searched on my personal acount page but I can't find such an option.

BTW, the installation is succesful, with a fresh trial key Parallels and the VM are working fine so the issue is narrowed to the transfer of the license keys of version 3 and 4.

    Thanks for any help,

    Wim

    Problem is solved :)

It turned out that for the second key I used an *upgrade* key from v2 to v3 instead of an older permanent key.
When I used an older permanent key the license was excepted.
In line with the license terms I removed the app + VM from the MBP.
