How to tweak Maya 7 in the guest XP or Vista?

Hello,

I installed the lastest Parallels 4.0 on my mac with the guest OS XP and Vista.

I found the Maya 7 in both XP and Vista doesn't run smoothly, it seems the video card driver doesn't provide enough performance, the video card mark in Vista is only 1.0.

Does anyone know how to tweak Maya 7 to a better performance?

Maya 7 is not in supported list of 3d application so we cannot guarantee proper work of this application.

You may try to incarese video: Stop your VM-> Configure -> Video also please check that 3D acceleration is enabled
Also please check in Virtual machine -> right click on the display -> properties->-> Settings-> Advanced -> Troubleshoot-> and increase Hardware acceleration

I will install the maya2008 demo to have a try. I don't know if supporting maya7 is a big project, if it's not, please add the support to maya7, thank you.
