I am running Parallels 8.0 on my MacBook Air which is running OS 10.8.5. Of course, Parallels allows me to run Windows 7 as a Virtual Machine. When I am working in a Windows environment, I would like to be able to download and upload files from my Mac Hard Drive as well as my external hard drive. (Isn't that the point of having Parallels??) In truth, neither the external hard drive nor the Mac HD can be seen when I have Windows Explorer open. I'm sure this has something to do with my settings in Parallels but am unable to figure out where and how to change those settings so Parallels can actually find either of the hard drives and any thumb drives I use in the USB ports. Looking for some guidance on this problem from someone familiar with Parallels.
