    Hi

I wonder if 2X would consider developing an HTML5 client as can be seen at www.remotespark.com. This allows the browser to be used directly as the RDP client without the need of any additional software.

    Hi

It has been over a year since I posted this question and I am wondering whether 2X is considering developing this type of client. I notice that there are now a number of companies with HTML 5 RDP clients (Ericom, ThinRDP, Guacamole, FreeRDP, Pintexx and RemoteSpark). It seems to me that this capability would be a nice addition to your Application Server and would allow any one with an HTML 5 (Canvas and WebSocket) Web Browser to connect to a Terminal Server.

    Thanks,
    Simon

They already have a client for the Chrome Browser (running as a web app):
    http://www.2x.com/rdp-client/chrome/

I think that we can expect a non-browser dependent HTML5 client in due time.
