and yeah i forgot to mention that......i also installed it after a fresh windows installation and everytime it looks for a booting device it hangs and give FATAL ERROR MSG. so Let me know what i should do. I am using a HP compaq V6160AU model laptop.
Are you using latest AMD processor? Can you try to clear 'Enable hardware virtualization support' flag in VM Flags pane in Options item in Parallels Configuration editor? Is it helps you?
