I have 3 questions regarding 2X Application Server. Is 2X Application Server the correct product to use along with Terminal Services to allow users to access Published Applications? Can this be used with both Win Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 products? Can the 2X product be installed on one of the Terminal Servers in the farm, or does it require another server. This would be for a small user population, less than 15 users, and they would only use 2 applications on the server. Thanks!
yes 2x application server is right application to publish application,2X Console is compatible with Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 Server. This means you do not need to upgrade your entire infrastructure to the latest Windows Server platform if all you need is application publishing with Seamless Windows capabilities. 2x application can be installed on any terminal server but it is recommended to be installed on a separate virtual/physical machine .
