I need some help granting permissions to a winhttp.dll file

Long story short, I'm trying to play a game on parallels but a winhttp.dll file is preventing me from doing so. When I take this file out of the game folder it launches just fine. When I leave this file in the game refuses to launch. I was advised to put the file into a DLL override, but I'm not sure how to do that or if it's even possible. Can anyone help me?
