i swear i fixed the crackling audio

i have absolutely no idea if this will help everyone - but it worked on my mini 2.26 with eight gigs of ram. i went to control panel - then system - then advanced - then performance. i checked best performance where it had been on let windows do whats best. it took windows xp a little while to go after i hit apply. probably took 30 seconds to a minute. the appearance of windows will change but halleluljah - the crackles are gone.
