IC-7300 SiLabs Sound Card Stopped Working After 17.1

I'm an amateur radio operator and there is some software I use for which there is only a Win10 solution. Up until this past weekend (after updating either to 17.1 or updating Parallels Tools - I'm not sure which), the SiLabs integrated sound card on my amateur radio transceiver works only intermittently. When it does work, it is laggy and virtually useless.

I have removed the VM and started over. I get the same issue. It doesn't matter what program I use, I get the same issue.

I also have a Fedora 34 VM on the same machine using Parallels and I run into similar issues.

This problem does not exist on the Mac which is a 2020 i7 with 32 GB RAM.

I am at a loss as to what else I can do other than revert to an earlier version of Parallels and Parallels Toolbox.

 

I fixed this by downgrading to Parallels 16. I'm not sure what happened in 17.1 to break my install but I'll stick with 16.
