hello, i've been working on this issue for awhile now and can't seem to get it fixed. internet explorer in xp doesn't seem to work anymore. it used to work, before i upgraded to build 3188, now it won't work no matter which build i install, 1970 or 3188. the page comes up but loads extremely slow if at all. other applications such as mcaffee and windows update seem to work fine and at a good speed, its just web browsers that have the problem.

i am using windows xp, parallels build 3188, shared networking. one problem i do see is in mac os, under system preferences, network, network status...the parallels host-guest adapter is red, says "the cable is connected but your computer does not have an ip address and cannot connect to the internet." parallels nat is green with an ip of 10.211.55.2

here is the ouput from my ipconfig /all cmd in xp:

any help would be greatly appreciated, i've searched for hours through the forums and can't find an answer.

    thanks

update: found the problem, it was this intego net barrier software installed on the mac os side, even though it was set to "no restrictions." uninstalling intego software solved the problem

Please try to use other network adapter - in configuration editor choose en0 or en1. If it will not solve problems try to use other netwirk mode.
