I want to use the built in video camera in my iMac (mid 2010, 21.5 inch, Snow Leopard) with Windows Messenger running in Windows Vista/Parallels 6. I have to continually go to Parallels > Devices > USB > then check the Apple built-in iSight. This sets off a process to install a driver which is alreday installed. I ignore this. I would like to just use the video when I open Messenger just like I use the microphone and the speakers. i dont have to faff around with the sound. Why do I have to do so with the video? Can anyone help? I tried the Apple forum and got advised to come here.
