I have a VM that I use at work, it runs RHEL 5.6. At work (in vSphere 5.5) is runs fine, no issues booting it up. However when I try to import the VM into Parallels Desktop 10, it says there is no OS to boot.

Not sure what is happening here - but would the fact that the .vmdk files are segmented be an issue with Linux? I have successfully imported Windows VMs with segmented .vmdk files into Parallels (8 & 9) before, but with v10 it has failed repeatedly with Linux. The .vmx file has a all of the required fields, nothing is missing.

Any help would be very much appreciated
