    Hi All,

I have a Win7 Bootcamp partition that I imported into a virtual machine and is running just fine. However the amount of disk space that it's taking up is about 40gb, when in reality I'd be surprised if I have about 20gb of data on the disk itself, including the OS. Looking at the disk settings, it's been configured as a 400gb disk, expanding with 2gb segments enabled. If I drill into the disk by showing the package contents I see 14 segments that less then or equal to 2gb and then (literally) about 200 260k segments.

If I try to compress the disk, no space is really recovered. (BTW Parallels compresser reports the disk size as 99gb at that point).

Do I have any options at this point besides a rebuild? I would truly hate to go thru that effort to recover maybe 10gb of disk space. The VM itself runs just great but the size bugs me.

    Thanks in advance.

    John
