I am trying to upgrade from VPC2007 and am interested in Parallels for Windows hosts, but am having problems with the automatic resize feature of the integrated display support. I need to be able to prevent it resizing the display when the host window is resized or full screen is toggled. Yes, I know this means scroll bars on the host window, that's okay. The aspect of this that I want is that the guest will not rearrange my windows and desktop every time I touch the host window border or toggle full screen. I usually have several things running at once and like to see at least parts of the individual windows so I can keep track of how things are going, and the automatic guest desktop resize rearranges everything and mixes this up whenever I need to switch away from the guest to do something on the host. Not being able to get this to work is likely to disqualify Parallels if I can find some other program that supports it.
