I am having a problem with installing Paralells on the latest Mac OS. I tried to uninstall the application because I thought I was selling the computer. I had the original build on there with updates and then I upgraded to the latest build when that came out. Anyway, I dragged the folder to the trash. I am guessing I was supposed to run an uninstall or something rather than that. Because now when I try to re-install the applicate it comes up says "You Cannot Continue. There is nothing to Install." It also says that there is a new version detected on the computer when I first start the install. I figured okay I would run the uninstall and it says it is not installed on this computer. Does anyone know how I can clear the rest of the files that are there obviously so I can re-install this app? Thanks for your time. Rob
Hi, To reinstall Parallels Desktop please do the following: 1. Open /Library/Receipts folder. 2. Delete Install Parallels Desktop.pkg file. 3. Launch Parallels Desktop installation. Alexander
