I installed Vista in Parallels using the express setup. That worked perfectly (well done!).

Running compressor rebooted the machine but then seemed to hang at the defrag stage (when after an hour it still looked as if it hadn't even started I cancelled it).

I then created a user account on Vista for myself, and a password, and rebooted.

Ever since then Vista boots into a "wrong user name or password" message. When I click "switch user" I get a screen with three icons: "Administrator", "Administrator", and "ajbrehm" (my user account created above). If I click on "ajbrehm" and enter my password I log in as expected.

Why are there two icons for the "Administrator" account on the login screen and how can I get Vista to stop booting into the "wrong user name or password" screen??? Why does Vista even decide that somebody is logging in (and fails) when it starts up? Should it not just display the login screen so I can log in? How do you define who should log in automatically in Vista?
