I have a downloaded .exe of Windows 7 from the Microsoft Academic Alliance. I want to run it in Parallels, but every time I do, I get the "There is no operating system installed in this virtual machine..." message. I found an old topic in which someone had the same problem, but the solution was to download it as an iso instead of exe. I don't have that option. I just have exe. Is there any way at all for me to get this to work? If I botch my use of 7 (as in can't download it from the site again), I still have XP to fall back on, but it's also an exe that I haven't downloaded yet.
Disregard. Solved my own problem. I had to download it onto a PC, then burn it onto a disk in iso format.
