Running Parallels 10 for Mac and made a virtual machine of Windows 10 Preview build 10130. Trying to install itunes but it keeps failing when it trys to create a shortcut to the desktop...even though I unchecked the box to do so. Really I need the Bonjour software that is paired with it but didn't know how else to have that installed. Any suggestions? Screenshot of error message attached...and i'm new to Parallels so if there is a reference page that addresses this please let me know. Thanks
Hi Brian, We understand that you are unable to install an application, as it gives you an error message while accessing PSF folder. Please follow the steps to resolve the issue: 1. Isolate Windows from Mac, as described here http://kb.parallels.com/112942 2. Un-install Parallels Tools from the Control panel 3. Reboot the virtual machine 4. Install Parallels Tools (in Parallels Desktop menu bar Virtual Machine -> Install Parallels Tools)
