Installing Snow Leopard on Parallels 8 on OS 10.8.3

I've been trying for several days now to install a Snow Leopard VM on Parallels 8 on a MacPro running OS 10.8.3. I have the SLeopard server disk and have followed MichaelLAX's 4-step instructions for doing it with Parallels 7 [http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1365439], as modified for Mt. Lion by Gilby101 [http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=16745691&postcount=413].

I get nothing but errors and freeze-ups.

Is there a revised, comprehensive set of installation instructions for getting SnowLeopard onto Parallels 8, hosted by OS10.8.3 on a MacPro?

I see MichaelLAX is online at the moment... perhaps he can steer me in the right direction.
