Installing Windows 7 from a .exe file

Greetings!

Well I'm new here and I'm about to buy Parallels Desktop. Yesterday I bought Windows 7 via the online store from Microsoft. With this I got a .exe file that will install Windows 7. I've been reading around but I can't find if I'm able to install Parallels in my computer with the .exe file they provided me.

And in case there's a solution I would like to know how I'll make it.

This since I don't have the installation CD. If I'm able to install it that way I'll buy Parallels.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I'll download the .iso file from the Digital River site! And as well purchase Parallels!
