Interesting "behavior" when using Keyboard in Guest only

If you have a Mac Notebook that has the screen set to dim after 5 minutes and go off after 10 minutes, do the following:

Start an XP VM
Plug in a USB keyboard, selecting (for the VM Only) when asked (which hooks the keyboard up ONLY for the VM).

Then type away i a document. 5 minutes into your typing, the screen will dim (even though you're actively typing). 10 minutes into your typing, the screen will go black.

Programatically, the "why it does this" makess sense, but I'm not sure it should actually happen that way.

What are your thoughts????
