Internet Connectivity Drops

I have Parallels Desktop 3.0 build 5608. I am running Windows XP Professional on a Macbook Pro with OS X Tiger.

My network is having problems. It seems that the connection to the gateway is getting dropped. I can still ping other computers on my network, however I can no longer ping the gateway (my 2wire wireless router).

If I click on Parallels tools and toggle the network driver to or from the Parallels/Realtek, a new driver is installed and it will work for a few minutes, then drop out again and I have to do the same thing.

Please advise.

 

As a first step , try to reinstall Parallels Desktop
