I am trying to pin an internet explorer website link on my clients MAC desktop. When I drag the address from the IE to the desktop it turns into a safari link. Safari would be fine but he needs the ActiveX controls in IE so he can view a web based DVR system. If I try to throw the link his Winblows desktop it of course works but the guy wants to run in coherence mode and if I try to fire up the DVR viewer in OS view it complains about the resolution. Everything works fine in coherence mode but the guy is too lazy to remember the IP's of the DVR's so he just wants an IE link on his desktop(MAC) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe if someone could tell me how to make Safari not the default browser and IE the default????
Go to the Parallels Desktop menu, select Preferences, and under the General tab set the Web Pages setting to Open in Windows.
